Gov. Paul LePage will take his Capitol for a Day tour to Franklin County on Wednesday, first by touring a handful of local businesses and then by hosting a town hall meeting that evening.
LePage is scheduled to visit the following businesses during the day: NotifyMD, a health care call center; Poland Spring; Stratton Lumber and Geneva Wood Fuels. Those events typically are closed to the public and the media.
From 6-7:30 p.m., the governor will invite the public to participate in a forum at Mt. Abram High School in Salem Township. LePage and some of his commissioners will be on hand to answer questions from the audience.
Since he was inaugurated in January, the governor has visited several counties across the state as a way to meet with individuals about issues facing the state.
